Voldemort is like a god to him. He would do any task to please the Dark Lord, though sometimes only out of fear. But overall, he worship him.
[/li][li]MONEY:[/u]
When you have the money, you get the power. You have the power and you'll have more followers. You have more followers means you have more power and money.
[/li][li]POWER:[/u]
Which was one of the reason why he followed Voldemort, hoping to be shared a bit of his power.
[/li][li]HIS FAMILY:[/u]
He would do anything for them, even risking his life by disobeying Voldemort if need be.
[/li][li]PEACOCKS:[/u]
Not just any peacocks. Albino peacocks. They are elegant creatures presenting beauty and having some walking in the garden of his giant manor-with-only-few-peope made his house seemed more lively.
[/li][li]DARK ARTS AND DARK ARTIFACTS:[/u]
In the pass he would buy many artifacts and put them in his mansion. Sometimes he even went abroad for some.
[/li][li]TRAVELING:[/u]
He liked going to various places during summer break. And now, since he got all the money, he would travel whenever he wants. Mostly he would go abroad to countries like Egypt
[/li][li]TORTURING/TORMENTING HIS HOUSE ELVES:[/u]
A favorite pass-time of his. There were times he ordered them to punish themselves for fun. And whenever he is stressed out, the elves were easy target to release stresses on.
[/li][li]RED WINE:[/u]
He grew up with the family's Apothecary business since young age and loved the smell of red wines, it is quite nostalgic. He would usually have a glass of red wine before meal.
[/li][li]SEVERUS SNAPE:[/u]
One of the few people who Lucius truely respect and befriended without any thought of using him for his own benefit. Snape joined Hogwarts when Lucius was a fifth year student and the boy really was an interesting person, as well as an excellent potioneer. Even after graduated, he kept in touch with Severus through the owl-letters. In fact there were times when Lucius considered of Severus as his brother.
[/li][li]LUXURY PLACES:[/u]
He would be more comfortable in such places. Whenever he travel abroads, he only chooses the best place to stay despite how much it will cost him.
[/li][li]QUIDDITCH:[/u]
He played Quidditch for two years as chaser during his Hogwarts time then lost interest in playing it, though still enjoyed watching the games.
[/li][/ul]
-----Dislikes:
Like most Death Eaters, he really really hated the 'old fool' for supporting Muggle's rights. He had attempted to throw Dumbledore off his place for many years but had never worked. That man always spoils their plans, no matter when they are still at school or when they were working for the Dark Lord. So yeah, he holds a big grudge against the Hogwarts Headmaster.
[/li][li]BELLATRIX LESTRANGE:[/u]
Her way of thinking is just too crazy and nasty for him to like. In Lucius's eyes, Bellatrix is an arrogant and, sometimes, reckless or impatient, not to mention: toady. Even Lucius thinks Bellatrix is too unnecessarily violent.
[/li][li]ORDER OF THE PHOENIX:[/u]
Mainly because they stands in the Dark Lord's way, and consisted of many people he horribly hate.
[/li][li]THE 'BLOOD-TRAITOR' WEASLEYS:[/u]
First of, they're poor. Second, Arthur Weasley the Muggle-maniac. Enough said.
[/li][li]MUDBLOOD/MUGGLES:[/u]
We all knows why. The fact he joined the Death Eaters said it all.
[/li][li]POVERTY:[/u]
Keeping away from it is a serious problem to rich people like him. He just couldn't stand the idea of being like the Weasley, it creeps him out.
[/li][li]FILTHY AND SMALL PLACES:[/u]
Just look at the Weasley and their houses. He is not going to live in such place. Even if he has to kill himself, he would never ever sleep in a 'Weasley' bedroom. Maybe he would if Lord Voldemort wants him to, otherwise, NO!
[/li][li]MOST OF THE HOGWARTS STAFF:[/u]
A hald-giant and a bunch of Dumbledore surporters,... you get the idea.[/li][/ul]
-----Habits: smoothing his hair with his hand; carrying his walking stick everywhere; fixing his clothes before doing anything.
-----Obsession: Narcissa; Dark Arts; money; his blood status; himself; peacocks
-----Hobbies: collecting dark artifacts; reading books; implying insults at people he dislike.
-----Phobia: poverty; displease the Dark Lord;
-----Favourite words: I; me; my; galleons; master (only when applied to himself)
-----Overall personality: Ever since Lucius was young, he was raised by a strict father, who kept him in place. He was afraid to anger his father but also respected the man and wanted to be like him. Thus, he became the-perfect-Malfoy who is elegant, well-mannered, ... so overall, a gentleman. This helped him a lot in earning people's trust to hide his identity as a Death Eater. He cares very much about his look and cleanliness. One of the things he learned from Abraxas was how superior he and his family were, compared to many others, and the pride of their blood status. Knowing that he was both wealthy and pureblooded, Lucius became very conceited and haughty. He despires muggleborns, wizards/witches who fancy Muggles and anykind of people who are poor. An example would be how he made fun of the Weasley and Rubeus Hagrid.
He was known to be ambitious and is an opportunist who wouldn't let a chance of achieving anything slips away from him. In order to do so, he could be shrewd and ruthless, not afraid of hurting others to reach his goal. He could show people a nice face to manipulate them for his own good and when not needed anymore, he could cruelly get rid of them. Toward people superior to himself, Lucius could be more humble. He prefer keeping a good relationship with them whilst waiting for an opportunity to outcast them (Voldemort is exceptional). He wouldn't try anything that could hurt his own social face, unless when out of option. Lucius should not be a good choice for those who wanted a faithful underling. True he could be one to trust with tasks. But he is also a coward when his own sake was threatened. He would lean to whichever side that could give him a better protection.
To him, emotions are considered weak, sympathy is considered foolish. He always hides his emotion under the mask he presents to the world. He is good at keeping himself at bay, but he can't erase all his feelings. There are times he has emotional overflow, such as when under pressure. But those times are rare and usually when he was alone by himself. So, most people see him as a cold-blooded rich-bastard. The only one who can break through his icy barrier is Narcissa, his current fiancée. During his hard times, he often relies on Narcissa's support. He also respected his parents and ancestors and would get furious knowing any of his family was insulted.
Despite his well-manner, Lucius could be very loud and bad-mouthing when angered enough. However, like most wizards from wealthy families, he would rather not to use his fists, resulting in him being the one assaulted first before he could reach his wand if a fist fight were to break out.

Following his graduation from Hogwarts, Lucius spent one year tracking the Death Eaters and was brought to them by none other than the Lestrange pair (Bellatrix and Rodolphus). They put him on a test for another year and he was eventually trusted enough to be brought to the Dark Lord. It was the first time he had ever seen Voldemort in person, also the day he began bearing the dark mark. His father was very proud of him and on Lucius's twentieth birthday, he passed the Elm wand cane down to him along with annoucing his right to use every single thing belonged to the Malfoy family however he wanted much sooner than the old man had planned. Finally it was freedom for Lucius to do whatever he wanted with the money. He began to fed money to the higher-ups people in the Ministry, which earned him their liking. With all the money and skills, Lucius manipulated a lot of people in the Ministry along with secretly serving Voldemort in the killing and torturing.
1976, Lucius became engaged to Narcissa.
1977, the wedding was planned to be held in summer.[/li][/ul]

-----Hometown : Wiltshire, in Southwest England[/b]
-----siblings: none
-----parents: Abraxas Malfoy, 47, retired owner of Malfoy’s Apothecary business, Wizengamot , pureblood, father
___ née ___ Malfoy, house-wife, 44, pureblood, mother
-----history:
- EARLY LIFE:
Lucius's childhood was a quiet one. While his wife was a caring mother who was over-protective, Abraxas Malfoy was the strictest father one could ever had. He wasn't one to show affection and rarely have a full day staying at home. His parents didn't want him to get to know too many outsiders to avoid any 'funny' idea to sneak its way into their son's mind. So, Lucius' early time of childhood was mostly spent inside the family's manor with his mother and the filthy elves. He did feel lonely at times, but soon began to make up for that by finding reason to torture the house-elves when bored. His father, instead of getting angry at him, actually praised him for being gifted at dorminating.
His first hint of magic was rather an odd and funny one: he had always liked his father 's extremely long hair. His father said it would take years to grow. But the four-years-old impatient Lucius didn't want to wait for his hair to grow longer. He went to the big mirror in his room, stared at his reflection, pouted angrily, wishing his hair would grow quickly. Amazingly, he noticed his hair began to grow longer and longer. But then it didn't stop before reaching the 'Rapunzel-length', forcing his mother to cut it with a spell whilst Lucius was mourning for the loss of all that hair. That was embarrassing actually. Lucius would rather say he blasted a house elf away or something when asked about this.
Being the only son, he was expected to be the future heir. Since he was six, his father began to spend more time with him. But it wasn't the kind of father and son happy time. It was because his father wanted to teach him everything he would need in other to become the family heir. However, Lucius was very fond of studying, and respected his father greatly as well as looking up to him and would be very ashamed & scared once he displeased the man.
As he was a little older, about the age of seven, Abraxas finally allowed him to come along when the man went to visit relatives and his friend's houses. A few could be named, such as the Lestrange, the Greengrass, the Goyle and the Crabble. Thanks to all these visits that Lucius finally found himself some people to talk with. As his father said having wide range of social connections would help him a lot in the future, he had to maintain a good relationship with everyone he met, even those he hated.
Abraxas also brought him to Diagon Alley for shopping, Lucius got himself a wand for the first time.A Walnut wood, Dragon Heartstring core, 12 inches long wand. He was brought to Knockturn one or two times too. After all that, Lucius got more things to do than ever. A whole day of learning various kind of things like writing, grammar, basic spells, basic math, basic manners, blasting elves,... It soon became a daily routine for him until he got his first Hogwarts letter.- YEARS AT HOGWARTS:
Lucius excelled in almost every subjects, except for Herbology because he just couldn't stand the idea of getting dirty over some plants. However, the pressures from his parents forced him to keep his grade acceptable. In second year he was finally given a broomstick, the fastest one at that time of course. He played Quidditch for two years then lost interest in it, though still enjoyed watching the games. He also got himself some 'friends', a bunch of enemies, aaand a girlfriend.
During his studying, the potion master, prof. Horace Slughorn, took a liking to his potion skill and lineage. The man invited him to his Slug Club. Due to this, Lucius found himself meeting more and more people and thus had to observe and befriend the right ones. Most of these relationships weren't true, he kept close relationship to those he thought could be a great help for his ambitious goal in the future only. He mostly hung out with the Slytherins and those who shared the same idea of blood purification. He started practicing dark magic since year two as he became interested in everything about Death Eaters and their leader, Lord Voldemort.
He became a prefect beginning from his fifth year, passed O.W.Ls, became Head-boy in his seventh year and later passed N.E.W.Ts faultlessly, which he knew pleased his father greatly.
- Bellatrix Black:
She was a few years older than him. Actually Lucius didn't like nor respect her much, he kept himself on her good side for the most part, but her way of doing things was quite opposite from his. They had a few fight and argument. She was the one constantly talked about You-know-who, resulting in Lucius' later life decision: become a Death Eater to serve Voldemort to purify the wizarding world.- Narcissa Black:
She came into Hogwarts a year after Lucius. He met her at the sorting ceremony when she caught his attention for being Bellatrix's sister. At first, he didn't expect a close friendship or anything judging from her sister's impression on him. But slowly, he was amazed by how different she was from Bellatrix. Nacrissa got along with him quickly as they shared many things in common. Before he even knew it, he had began to care for her more than anyone else since the summer after second year when they constantly sending letters to each other. Only until his fifth year that Lucius finally confirmed to himself about his true feeling for her. It was on Christmas night that he confessed. To his very own surprise, Nacrissa accepted his feeling, stating she also felt the same way. They secretly dated each other since then. (The secret didn't stay secret long actually, not after James Potter caught them having lovey-dovey time then ran around telling people)- Severus Snape:
As a prefect, it was his mission to guide the younger students. He greeted them all when the boys were sorted ino Slytherin and Severus was one of those he had a good oppinion on. After that, he would help him with dfferent things. One of which was to save him from the Gryffindors, especially James Potter's group.
Read 'likes' for more detail.- The Marauders:
Oh how he hated them. Especially because of their habit of making Severus Snape's life miserable. The only one he found interestting was Remus Lupin, who disappeared every month mysteriously. On a side note, he found Peter Pettingrew to be a nice dummy for spell practice. Everytime a fight break out between him and the Marauders, Peter was always the first one to taste his hexs or curses.- Lucius Malfoy's gang:
Just like his son, Lucius also formed a gang by himself. Member of this Slytherin gang mainly became future Death Eaters. The gang consisted of ___ Crabble, ___ Goyle , Severus Snape, Bellatrix Black , Rodolphus Lestrange, Evan Rosier(In charge when Lucius busy studying for N.E.W.Ts exams), father of Theodore Nott and Destin Wilkes and Lucius himself as leader. There were many conflicts over leadership between him, Rodolphus and Bellatrix until the older two graduated.- Arthur Weasley:
And here we have, the blood-traitor, the muggle-maniac, Arthur Wealey. Lucius hated Arthur more than anyone else he ever met. Despite being younger, Lucius always wanted to pick a fight on Arthur. There first fight was when Lucius was in his second year (Arthur was 4 years older). He insulted a muggle-born student, Arthur came to that student's aid, and Lucius moved on to insult his poverty. They both cast hexes at each other on the school ground. Things could've been worse if Dumbledore hadn't showed up to stop the curses while they were still in mid-air, Lucius was forced to retreat to avoid troubles. From then on, they kept on fighting each other through words (and fists a few times) whenever they saw each other.- FIRST WIZARDING WAR:
Following his graduation from Hogwarts, Lucius spent one year tracking the Death Eaters and was brought to them by none other than the Lestrange pair (Bellatrix and Rodolphus). They put him on a test for another year and he was eventually trusted enough to be brought to the Dark Lord. It was the first time he had ever seen Voldemort in person, also the day he began bearing the dark mark. ----RP sampleEver since the return of terror, the one thing every wizards and witches in the whole wide world were horrified of, the sky had been mostly cloudy, in a gloomy way. The fact that there was actually sunlight would be quite suprising to people living in Wiltshire, or at least to those who cared. It was late in the afternoon of one of those rare sunny day. No one knew if such strange behavior of the weather whould lead to anything astonishing. One thing for sure that there was one man who really really wasn't enjoying the rare occasion. Lucius Malfoy stomped along the corridor, looking quite uneasy.
For the past few days, he had been worried sick about his son. The stress of it made him extremely grumpy lately. The conversation with Snape the other day turned out to be another heart attack for the Malfoy. The task their Dark Lord had placed upon Draco was utterly unexpected. After a whole sleepless night that worsen his already ruined appearance, Lucius had figured out the motive of such an impossible task. He knew Voldemort hadn't punished him for his fall at the Ministry even though he could feel that disappointed and rage in the Dark Lord's every words. So he had gotten himself ready to suffer a punishment. Used to be one of those nearest to the center of the circle, he knew what ruthless and horrible price he would pay for spoiling the plan. But to use Draco to punish him was the cruelest thing he could get from the Lord. He was very proud of his son's ability, but he had to admit the chance of succeeding was so small. If the boy were to fail, he bet -with all his properties- that Voldemort would take that as an excuse to kill them all off. Or torture them to insanity, like he did the Longbottom couple.
On a side note, the shiny scene outside was also irritating him. No more filthy cell and dirty clothes, yet he was still trapped. More ironically, trapped in his own house. It would be great wandering in the garden for some air, but he wouldn't risk it. He could only trust the tall hedges around the manor as much as he trust a door-locking spell (so far never worked against the impolite Death Eaters). There could be...no, there must be spies and aurors waiting out there for any sign of escaped prisoners, and Lucius was one of which. Imagine the worst case, like if they were to see him skipping around the yard like a fool. Not that he ever skipped in his garden anyway...
Not so long after he was captured, 'Arthur Weasel' and his Ministry group made a second raid on his manor - the first was the day after he was rudely shoved into his Azkaban cell. They wrecked everything just hoping to find something. He was pretty sure that 'reliable source of information' of their was either Harry Potter -who usually happened to know things 'magically'- or they just wanted to find a reason to give his family a hard time, knowing he wasn't there anymore. He had lost count of how many times the scene of him blasting that blood traitor, muggle-maniac, into pieces appeared in his mind. Wasn't throwing him into Azkaban for the rest of his life made them happy enough? Just look at him now, even his two dogs' hair were more well-trimmed than his.
Even more frustating, now he had to rely on Narcissa when it came to any job involving the outside world. Such embarassment. Now the only job for him was to pointlessly walk around in his mansion, torturing the elves that annoyed him (or just unlucky enough to be there when he wasn't in the mood to see anyone), fixing broken things he happened to come across, looking for the family heirlooms that someone kept on scrattering randomly around the building, then place them back to where they belonged. Usually he wouldn't be bothered doing it for he had quite a lot of house elves to do so for him. But now since he was trapped inside his manor, there was nothing else he could do.
And now, he had caught sign of something odd while walking in the hallway. He hadn't been to the east wing for two or three days -couldn't blame him, it was a huge manor- and thus, had missed what happened that led to the scene he was about to see. It all started with a half opened door of the drawing room. One of the rules inside the Malfoy's house: all doors must be closed. Lucius stopped dead in his track to look at the door and grunted. Whoever left it open would suffer his tauntings. The blonde raised his walking stick and used it to push the door open wider. His cold gray eyes scanned the room.
First impression: The whole room was a mess. A moment of absolute silence for the owner of the manor. His eyes and mouth slightly widened in disbelief. Some portraits had fallen from their place on the wall and were now lying dustly on the floor. Shattered vases. Broken lamps. Cracks and burnt marks on the wall. Wine bottles rolling on the expensive large carpet, a half empty one caused a large spot of spilled wine -so this was where his stolen wines had gone to. In conclusion, it was a totally ruined room. The first time, since the Death Eaters began to take his mansion as a place to do whatever they wanted, someone had gone this far into destroying his house. That someone was going straight into his 'to kill' list, right next to 'Arthur Weasley'. If he ever found out the culpit, he w... A movement caught his eyes. His eye sight locked on a figure, who didn't look like he was in much better shape than his room, lying on the chair. Didn't take Lucius longer than half a second to recognize him.
Rodolphus Lestrange. His 'dear' brother-in-law. One of those he respected, but also disgusted. It could be put in a way like this: the Rodolphus back in their younger years was nicer. Doing tasks for the Lord with him was not bad, in fact, very good. Much better than with the Carrow siblings. He could do things on his own and all. On the other hand, this Rodolphus laying on the chair in front of him now would have never been welcomed into his manor in the first place if there wasn't for Voldemort. Truthfully, he believed none of the Death Eaters -except for Severus- were allowed to stay in his home for longer than a day. This certain one alone had proven it. The auburn haired man should be glad the shock of seeing the damaged hall still blocked Lucius' voice at this very moment.
“Lucy, what a pleasant surprise.” Lying on his chair like a rag, Rodolphus said in a voice that Lucius found annoying. The Lestrange spoke as if he didn't see the state of the room nor did he seemed to care about the presence of the properties' owner. Not to mention, he dared to use Narcissa's way of calling him.
The eldest Malfoy had to summon all the strength in his body as to not blast a curse at the man. His face turned palely red as the blood gathered to his face in his effort to surpress his deep anger. The corner of his mouth twitched. He gripped the snake handle of the stick tightly and could felt his back teeth grinded. "No, Lucius. Killing or hurting him won't bring you any good. You already have too much racket going on your path."
Taking a calming breath, he managed to reply without shouting into Rodolphus's face. "I should be the one surprised, Roddy." He returned the same sarcastic tone to the Lestrange and, with lots of inner mind power, formed a faint smirk on his face, even though it was clearly far from friendly. "Care explain to me what happened here?" The little smirk faded as he turned serious.
