The Gryffindor Common Room is a very comfortable place and it is only for Gryffindor's. Any student who is not in Gryffindor house and is found in here will have points deducted and be given detention. The Common Room itself has portraits of past heads of Gryffindor house, a warm fireplace and numerous chairs, couches and tables.
